Die cutting.
The embossing with this design works really well to add interest to it! It is a really simple way to make people interact with the design.

Printing onto furniture

I would guess this would have been possibly screen printed as different sheets of material. I think this could be quite an effective way of printing onto material.

Examples of different prints:
Eccentric design

The golf balls below in my opinion will have been done by Pad Printing, which is used to print onto 3d objects..

This short video shows how the pad printing is done and as you can see there has to be someone who replaces the old object with another one!!

Although below the M&Ms are 3d and would think that pad printing is used i would think it was done by a laser with some sort of food colouring as to be ok to eat.
I really like this idea below of the watch advert on a hand strap in a bus, as it is affective as it work by having the watch around your wrist and i think its quite inventive. However not a lot of people would look up to read that much text on the strap. But i would guess this was done through either flexo and have it on sheets and cut into straps afterwards or rotogravure.
I also think this is quite imaginative to print onto the side of coffee machine and things to make it look as though there are people working inside the machines. I think this would have been done digitally as there wouldn't have been very many to print because its from a small organisation.
I also quite like these however im not quite sure how they would have done them as im sure they would have been done as sheets then added round the cup, however i don't know how popular they are and don't know how many they would have printed. But i would guess Flexography.
