Promotion.

To promote my charity i needed to target students. To do this i needed to think about what they would be doing and where they would be doing it. Once i knew this i can then look at places where the students would be to advertise/promote my idea to them. To advertise my idea they would have to be somewhere where they had time to read the idea and able to pay attention rather than rushing somewhere or too busy.

So there would be places such as the Headliners in buses so when they are on a possibly longer journey they can read it. It also makes the promotion bigger as the image will travel all over and more students will see it.

These are the dimensions of what size i would need to make the design to fit in the busses.

A bus stop was another alternative to advertise at, oboviously i wouldn't make it like this advert from Ikea in New York but it would be a good idea to print here for when students are waiting for the bus and have time to read it.

If i did want to advertise at these outside places the list above shows how much it would be and the size of the posters i would have to make it.

Also at the train station there are plenty of posters around on the platforms and such things which i think would also be another good way to promote as there are plenty of students always travelling and waiting for their trains, so would be the perfect opportunity for them to read the poster.
